In the state of sabah, there are so many islands that some of it are live unpopulated by the humans, only left for the animals and the plants. The beaches in Sabah mostly are popular tourist spot at anytime of the year. Here, the most popular beaches are in Tanjung Aru, Pulau Kapalai, Pulau Langkayan, Pulau Sipadan and also the Turtle Island.

Tanjung Aru, which located almost 6km from Kota Kinabalu is the location for Shangri resort where many tourist spend time. Tanjung Aru, which get its name from the casuarinas’a tree or in bahasa aru, have a very tranquil beach and the view in the evening is eye-soothing. Since the Shangri La’s resort is there, the tourist will be spend their quality time there.

The food there are available until late at night. Usually, the serving there are coconut and sugarcane juice, and chicken and beef satay or the tourist can enjoy a full time dinner at the seafood restaurant. To go there, tourist can used bus or get a taxi for Rm 15 per cab.

Secondly, Pulau Kapalai, is a hidden island between the Island of Sipadan and Mabul. Its popular for the stretch of reef or also known as the Ligitan Reef. This place is very beautiful plus with the crystal clear water that allow the visitor to have view the creation of God. Other things that popular is the activity in Kapalai Island, diving. Not just the off-shore experience, the tourist can dive in the water to experience it themselves.

In Langkayan Island, like another islands, it have a very beautiful scenery that worth money. Located at the North west of Sandakan, the white sand, will sure fire take the tourist interest. The natural environment around the beach, such as the reef attract many not your average acuatic life such as leopard shark, and giant groupers. For the food, mostly that available would be variety of fresh seafood. It only takes about 15 minutes of a boat ride from Sipadan.

Next, the worldly famous Sipadan Island, which known for the natural beauty of its mother nature, the acuatic life and the reefs. This place is another really extraordinary scenery that should make someone to move there just for the mother nature.

Other than that, there are also Turtle Island. Totally like the name of the island, Turtle Island is truly a place for the turtle to lay down at seasons. Turtle Island is also a renowned turtle conservation institute where known to the world. To go to the island, the tourist required to take a one hour boat ride before can enjoy such fascinating view.
