Like any other popular tourist spot, there are always be a plays for shopping and place to buy stuff like handcrafted item and souvenirs , so does Sabah.
Firstly, the Night market that located the Jalan Tun Fuad Stephens. In these market, they sold variety of merchandise and local dish also. The market open at 6. 30 in the morning until, 6. 00 p.m in the evening.
Secondly, the Hand-crafted Market that located between the Night Markt and Central Market. This place is also known as a bazaar where the items sold is very reasonable. The items sold mostly are jewellery, bamboo goods, pearls, sea shells craft and also textiles. This market is quite popular because the customer able to bargain the price of the items that they want to buy. The operation hours is between 10 a.m until 6.00 pm.
Next, one of the market that is also near the Jalan Tun Fuad Stephens, the Night Market behind the Filipino Market. Basically, this night market also sell a lot of souvenirs, but tourist were recommended to try the fried chicken and barbecued fish.
Lastly, the Tawau Bazaar. In this bazaar, the people usually sold merchandise such as the popular batik, handicraft, cosmetic, and the some souvenirs. Like the Hand-craft market, the customer can get a lower price if they can bargain for a lower price.
